After a successful delivery of the turnaround and inspection of tank 210 at Caltex Kurnell, Giovenco Industries has now been selected on the mechanical panel for the provision of tank mechanical repair services.
The journey begun by piloting a full T&I on a Light Cycle Gasoil (LCGO) service which involved a full floor and annular replacement along with some intricate shell remedial work. The team was brought together in August 2011 and delivered the project with no recorded injuries and on the scheduled return to Service. The result of this successful pilot has now positioned (GI) to broaden its mechanical stream in the field of tank overhaul as a registered panel provider.
A special thanks must be extended to the Giovenco team both at Ingleburn and the Kurnell site. In particular a special thanks to Zack Eshraghi, David Maddocks, Andrew Pierce and all the crew who all went above and beyond the call of duty in a very busy period to ensure that the deadlines were met in a safe manner and with the highest quality.
Looking forward to 2012 and beyond, we have now expanded our activities onto the Jet fuel and the Crude oil Service which will certainly keep us busy for a while.

The Metro Sydney Scaffolding crew of 7 men have just completed Scaffolding the external of Tank 5 at Juhi airport terminal.
The guys put in a phenomenal effort to erect 80 ton of scaffold in 3 days to help bring our clients schedule back on track.

Giovenco Industries will supply insulation services to Metso Paper (ANZ) Pty Ltd as part of its supply of installation and commissioning services to Amcor Packaging (Australia) Pty Ltd for its new machine project for a containerboard line at its Botany Mill in Sydney, Australia.

On the 6th July 2011, Giovenco Industries achieved a major milestone, completing 1,000 days of Treated Injury Free Operations at the Caltex Kurnell refinery NSW.

Giovenco Industries have been awarded the 2011 Tank Program Maintenance at Caltex Refinery, Kurnell. As a part of this work, Giovenco Industries will be managing the entire maintenance work on three tanks which are Tank 210, Tank 168 and Tank 415 .
