Giovenco industries have been awarded the Scaffolding , Insulation & Painting works on the CDU cluster shutdown for the Caltex refinery Kurnell.
The Shutdown is scheduled in September 2011 consisting of the following plants .
- Plant 45.1 - No 3 CDU,
- Plant 45.1 Sour Water Stripper
- Plant 52/3 NHTU/Rheniformer, collectively called herein (“2011 CDU Cluster”) .
The approximate duration for No 3 CDU Cluster is 40 days, and it is estimated that the workforce comprising of Caltex, Principal Mechanical Contractor and sub-contractors will be around 500 people.
The shutdown will involve project management and execution of the following activities during the Turnaround .
- Scaffolding : The Pre shutdown Scaffolding have already initiated
- Insulation Works
- Painting Works
