The workshop in Ingleburn (NSW) covers 6500m2 and carries out various disciplines of work.
The painting facility has two large warehouses, both are approximately 80 metres long by 25 metres wide. Each facility has 2 off 10 tonne overhead cranes. Our materials handling consists of a 14 tonne mobile crane and 3 off 4 tonne forklifts which allows us to unload and reload various types of steel structures. If the weight of the structure is above our capacity we are able to subcontract crane hire to satisfy those requirements.
Both factories have their own designated blast rooms. Factory 1 blast room stands 6m high x 6m wide x 20m long with a grated floor. Factory 2 is 7m high x 7m wide x 15m long with a solid steel floor. It can carry up to 100 tonne structures if required.
The blasting and painting processes are driven by two electric compressors that produce 1600 cfm of air which is complimented with an air dryer which provides clean moisture free air. No matter what size the job be it a 40 tonne 40 metre RTA girder or a pool fence that requires an epoxy coating our facility can cater for it.
The different types of works carried out in the workshop include:
- Abrasive blasting and painting
- Fireproofing
- Lead removal
- Polyurea coatings
- High pressure water washing
- Tank lining
- Internal pipe coatings
- Anti-corrosive tape wrapping
