Planner

Gove (Nhulunbuy) is a coastal community with modern amenities including schools, shopping centre, hospital and various sporting facilities. Golf, tennis, fishing and camping are among common pastimes which make living in this unique tropical environment a memorable and rewarding experience.

This is a residential site based role with supplied family housing provided.

The successful applicant would possess:

• Trade or Engineering background.
• Previous experience in a similar Planning role in a refinery or heavy industrial operation.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• The ability to establish client relationships.
• Computer literacy.
• Valid Drivers Licence.


Duties will include:

• Planning & scheduling of Scaffolders, Insulators and Rope Access personnel.
• Update and maintain equipment and resource databases.
• Coordinate with client area owners and planners.
• Update client database and KPI tracking.
• Attend and contribute to daily/weekly planning meetings.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment resources to achieve contract objectives.
• Participate in audits and safety interactions.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a full drug & alcohol screening before commencing and that random drug & alcohol testing will also be conducted on site.
